PROGRAM SUMMARY
Harrisburg Day Treatment is a community-based program with a licensed school for up to 58 court-ordered delinquent and dependent males between the ages of 12-18 who are residents of Dauphin County within the transportation range of the program. Education services are available for students with a minimum I.Q. of 80. (Lower I.Q. candidates are considered on a case-by-case basis.)
School services include:
- 36-week curriculum focused on decision-making skills, victim impact, victim awareness, future planning and re-entry into public school
- Concentration on high school completion and GED preparation and testing
- Mandatory school attendance
- Structured recreational activities in the community on a weekly basis
